Pregnancy yoga offers a modified asana practice with a focus on breathing techniques that provide helpful support during pregnancy and post-natal. Consisting of an integration of breath and movement to keep you strong and mobile and maintain your health and well being, both physically and mentally.
Pregnancy yoga can provide you with the tools to deal with various pregnancy symptoms (such as fatigue, heartburn, anxiety and back ache) and you will learn to move safely with the intention to adapt and support to the physical changes of pregnancy. You will feel calm and revitalised, with each class ending with deep relaxation to nurture and restore.
Our class is warm and welcoming, where you’ll meet other mamas-to-be and make long lasting friendships. It is a gathering of women, supporting each other in their journey to motherhood. I aim to create a sense of community in my class, as friendships are invaluable during this transformational time.
Classes are suitable from 14 weeks through to your labour. Everyone is welcome, from those new to yoga to experienced yogis wanting to learn how to modify their practice.
