Handstands: Building confidence and alignment
Learn how to build a handstand that is both strong and safe. We will be exploring the alignment of a modern handstand and how to get there using a variety of drills from yoga, gymnastics and circus arts, working towards holding a freestanding handstand for 30 seconds. We will also be looking at how to make this a sustainable practice with exercises to strengthen and protect the wrists and shoulders from injury. Suitable for all levels from beginner to those looking to sharpen their existing handstand practice.
